Nogezaka Glocal is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting community development in Japan and Asian countries such as Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia through mutual learning and collaboration. Founded in 2016, it actively engages in a wide range of initiatives, including elderly welfare and youth development. Nogezaka Glocal works closely with central and local governments, educational institutions, and community groups to create inclusive societies where diverse populations can thrive. Through its grassroots activities, the organization fosters sustainable development and promotes cross-cultural understanding, aiming to build resilient communities.


Strategic Approaches

Nogezaka Glocal follows two main strategic approaches:

  1. Promoting mutual cooperation between communities in Japan, Thailand, and other countries.

  2. Supporting local community development in Asian countries through collaboration with various organizations, including private companies, NGOs, government agencies, and academic institutions.


Main Activities

  • Networking and coordination between organizations in Japan, Thailand, and other countries

  • Organizing study tours between Japan and Asian countries (including Thailand and Malaysia), both inbound and outbound

  • Implementing the Community-Based Integrated Elderly Care Project, titled the “Smart & Strong Project”
